
LGBT Young Writers Prize
We’re excited to announce that we are sponsoring the Young Enigma Allan Horsfall Prize for LGBT+ Young Writers in Greater Manchester.
Entrants must be aged between 13 and 25 and live in the Greater Manchester area.
The winner will will receive one-to-one mentoring sessions in Manchester, continued editorial support, free books, and performance and publication opportunities. A selection of entries will be published in an anthology of emerging LGBT+ voices by Dog Horn Publishing and the winner will also be supported in undertaking a writing residency at Archives+ at Manchester Central Library.
To support people wishing to enter the prize Young Enigma are hosting 2 free open writing workshops at Manchester Central Library in the Archives+ Performance Space on the 5th and the 26th of April from 2-4pm.
