Bradford Pit Project exhibition at Beswick Library and Archives+

Archives+ has worked with The Bradford Pit Project over the past year in order to develop a permanent archive on Bradford Colliery at Manchester Central Library. During the Manchester Histories Festival you can see original and digitised Bradford Pit archives in the Archives+ exhibition area at Central Library, and the full story at Beswick Library. The main exhibition at Beswick Library showcases The Bradford Pit Project's activities and three-year journey to mark and celebrate Bradford Colliery. The exhibition at Beswick Library opens on Saturday 4 June and runs all summer. Beswick Library is open:

• Monday: 9am-1pm; 2-5pm
• Tuesday: 9am-1pm; 2-5pm
• Wednesday: 9am-1pm; 2-5pm
• Thursday: 9am-1pm; 2-7pm
• Friday: closed
• Saturday: 9am-1pm: 1.30-4:30pm
